This morning, Chief Strategist of Fullerton Research, Jimmy Zhu, delivered his keynote speech “New Characteristics of the Southeast Asian Market” at Asia Trading Summit 2020. He projected that the pandemic will continue to pose a great threat to the global economy in the first half of 2021. Considering other factors such as low interest rates and depreciation of US dollar, more foreign investors are expected to tap into the potential of ASEAN and other emerging markets in Q2 2021.
