Previously the Head of Business Development, this new role will see Tim Sim take charge of both the Business Development and Relationship Management departments.
A veteran in the margin trading industry, Tim has over 12 years of experience in building up high-performance sales teams.
Said CEO of Fullerton Markets, Mario Singh, "I am thrilled to announce Tim's promotion to Head of Global Sales. He personifies our four core values of Passion, Excellence, Commitment and Sustainability in everything he does. I am confident that with Tim's entrepreneurial spirit, unwavering commitment and relentless attitude, we will be firmly poised to play an even bigger role and serve more clients in Asia Pacific."
Asked for his secret in building high-performance teams, Tim mentioned, "I boil it down to three things. Firstly, finding people with good character and competence. Secondly, instilling trust and value in each team member. Finally, constant communication. I find that most misunderstandings arise due to the lack of communication. That's the reason I place it as a priority when building big teams. Everyone should have their own voice to speak up and suggest ideas or improvements."
When asked who serves as his inspiration, Tim added, "My CEO, Mario Singh. He is a mentor whom I have worked alongside for the past 12 years. His warrior-like mindset and genuine love for people are things I have mirrored in my daily life as well. I look forward to achieving bigger goals with the company in my new role. The sky's the limit with Fullerton Markets."
